She Ruined the Picnic

Manet’s Le Déjeuner sur l’herbe

ree

She ruined the picnic when she took off her clothes.

No peeking, no sneaking, nothing to suppose.

I wore a jacket and a very fine hat.

Edouard sported a spiffy cravat.

She ruined the picnic when she took off her clothes.

No peeking, no sneaking, nothing to suppose.

Eduard and I came  prepared to leer,

hoping at least to see her brassiere.

She ruined the picnic when she took off her clothes.

No peeking, no sneaking, nothing to suppose.

Eduard and I nearly had fits

when she asked what we thought of her tits.

She ruined the picnic when she took off her clothes.

No peeking, no sneaking, nothing to suppose.

Finally, her smirk became such a bother

Edouard and I just talked to each other.
