I'll See You When the Roads Are Dry

Updated: May 17, 2024

How will we know it’s a wrap?

Time to take a bow and sigh,

“It’s been grand and on behalf of the band,

We’ll see you when the roads are dry.”

How will we know when it’s over?

Let’s not even bother to try.

You were the best, but I’m headed out west.

I’ll see you when the roads are dry.

It’s my turn to buy the last round

before we say goodbye.

We’ll take a cup of kindness, love.

I’ll see you when the roads are dry.
