An octogenarian considers a road trip to see the London Bridge in Havasu, Arizona

The London Bridge in Havasu, Arizona is home to hundreds of bats and thousands of swallows.  It’s not that hard to get there from here.   I could jump into my car tomorrow and drive to Havasu, Arizona. Nothing could stop me except what’s in my head.  I want to be the kind of octogenarian who says, ”'Last week I drove to Havasu, Arizona to see the London Bridge for no good reason except to flex my ‘no good reason muscle'  and my 'I’m the kind of person who' muscle.  Or maybe my 'crazy old lady’ muscle.'”  Anyway, there’s another scenario where I  drive down Highway 395 and stay the night at Motel 6 in Laughlin, Nevada.   Then I’m in Lake Havasu City.    I see the bats and swallows, but it's a “so what?” experience. However, in this version, there’s a man seen jumping off the London Bridge at Lake Havasu.  He is not suicidal, contrary to what you might think.  He does it to impress me.  Unfortunately, he is ninety-three.
